Getting Started

Kaleidoscope reads generations from the following folder:

$COMFYUI_INSTANCE_BASE_PATH/output/release

and makes the workflow available through the search interface. Let’s work through an example.

When you first start, your page will look like this:

Not much going on. Go to ComfyUI and open a workflow. I will use the default workflow.

Preparing a Workflow

Go to the menu and browse templates and chose a text to image workflow. I have chosen ZImageTurbo.

Important - update the save location to release/ANYTHING/YOU/WANT/AFTER/THIS. It’s important this points to a subfolder in your release folder so that the indexer can find it.

I am using this prompt:

A colossal spaceship ring shaped megastructure floats in a cold overcast sky with its massive circular form tilted diagonally across the frame as if suspended mid descent. The structure is composed of dark industrial metal plating layered with dense mechanical detailing including antenna arrays protruding outward segmented hull panels exposed framework and recessed docking cavities. After the image is generated and you refresh the Kaleidoscope UI, you should see something like this:
